faith alone, not works or perfect attendance or following rules but to have a genuine Love and reverence for Jesus. Faith is the substance of our devotion and belief in Christ.

Quite literally that when one puts their *faith* in Jesus they are *saved*.

“Saving faith” is freely given to us when we believe in Jesus Christ as our one and only Savior.
We are saved, not by good deeds, but by our faith in Jesus Christ. -
A belief (from the heart) that Jesus, as the Son of God, died for our sins, was buried and arose the third day. Our only hope of being saved is through faith. Our good works do not save, they are only evidence that we have been saved.
