    Leadership is taking charge of a thing that should be done or needs to be done and inviting others to participate in advancing that thing to goal, means, result, outcome and/or desire/

    Management is moving people thru the tasks that should be performed to achieve outcomes.

    Leaders lead others to a place different then where they are. Managers manage the place at which people already operate.

    Leadership has a plan, a clear goal, and action steps to be taken along the way. Management maintains the status quo.

    Leadership has a clear defined goal and a plan to reach that goal. Management are the guidelines to stay within the framework of the plan

    Leaadership takes something or someone from one place and puts them in a better place. However, the managemet controls or manages something that it must do.
