What is the difference between leadership and management?

Managers are put in place to supervise processes, but leaders are individuals who motivate others into achieving their goals. Leaders value terms such as, empowerment, motivation, and encouragement. Mangers on the other hand, just require the necessary skills and abilities to get the job done.

Deleted User07/31/2024 at 11:09They are different in that leadership is taking someone or a group of people to a certain place. Management is less focused and does not have in mind where they want to take people.

Management does not always take into account people skills, nor does it focus on getting people to be the best person or a team that they can be.
