This community life will include sound instruction in doctrine by the leaders, love for one another among believers, prayer and social support in times of trouble, openings for you to serve others lovingly for the sake of Christ. If you merely acknowledge the idea of a universal church, but do not commit to a local church, you cannot experience the joy and benefits of this doctrine.
