The most challenging may actually be the observation. It requires that I slow down and go at an easy pace in order to note what is significant. But, here I would say that being led by the Holy Spirit is key because there are many things to be noticed, but not all things that are observable may be essential to what God is portioning for my daily provision in that day. I think to rely on God for what seems to me that I am capable of doing in my own strength is the biggest challenge.

[What is the safest way to interpret figures of speech in the Bible?] Figures of speech might be a matter of a play “on” words and are always a matter of playing “with” words. They add flavor and vividness and may give insight. In this sense, they can fill in for literal statements that may need the assistance of figures of speech to keep our interest and seal in our minds and memories the point being made. This is true for this form of language in the Bible as well as other sources. But figures should never be pressed for a greater significance or permanence that, by their nature, they do not have.
