Jesus could have denied his deity to the high priest or Pilot, and his life could have been spared. He could not deny that he was God because it was TRUE.

C.S. Lewis and I agree that His claim on our lives is true and without Him we are lost, -
We recognize that the Son of God has come to be our Saviour as prophesied in the OT.
