What is the significance of Jesus Christ’s claim to be God?

Jesus Christ is God. He was in HUMAN form. He lived a perfect life. He had to be in human form to live out a perfect life to do what he did for us.

All the things He said and did would be fully credible and to be obeyed and received fully. Everything He did for our salvation would also be of infinite power and value.

No other religious leader claimed to be God and if He isn’t God then ultimately His death would have not carried meaning and He would not have been able to resurrect.

Christ’s deity is the foundation of Christianity. The whole message of the bible stands on the single point that Jesus is the Son of God.

He was God in fully human form.
