My favorite prayer is from (Jeremiah 33:3). In this verse, Our heavenly Loving father reminds us that we should call him and He will show us the things we do not know. God knows our doubts, limitations and weaknesses. And He keeps reminding us in this verse that He is our loving father and we should ask him because He is with us always and He can show us things we don’t know.

Psalm 86. The image of God bending down to hear me, the blessings pouring forth, lightens my heart.

In most books written by Paul, he interjects a prayer to/for the people as he encourages them to continue to share the Good News about Jesus. In Colossians 1:2b it reads, “I pray that God our Father will be kind to you and will bless you with peace!” The prayer is not long and drawn out; it’s actually quite simple and effective. He prayed for what many Believers could use more of, God’s perfect peace.

The Lord’s prayer. To be honest, I have not familiarized myself with many specific prayers. I would love to learn more. But I think the Lord’s prayer is a beautiful reminder of how to balance our prayers with requests about God and ourselves.
