Our school participated in a toy drive for Christmas, and I think this got them excited to bless other kids.

I have seen them work with us in flood houses, pray with people who have been begrudged by the floods. I had a friend who took pictures in Hatti on mission trips, went to school and she was a young adult at the time. She is in Heaven right now. I will tell you when I was in a wheel chair she came to my home and I had surgery to walk again and we shared stories and she took pictures with me. We would drive around and stop and wait for the deer to come out and be quiet and take pictures. She took what extra time out and visited with me as I went through therapy to walk again. So when you make a impact God rewards this back to you. It was God working through her and I. I have seen students work together. I have seen students who aren’t Christians, become Christians and lives change for the good. What a blessing missions can for a person can accomplish for the glory of God’s kingdom.

My students regularly do work for local, at-risk elementary students.

I have seen our school create the protein meals to send on missions.

Students in different grade level have certain places they go to which is age-appropriate for them, i.e. orphanage, seniors home, street kids. The teachers introduce and plan the program for the first time visit and the students then take over and plan for the next trip. Some planned for cooking a meal together, others plan for a sport game, reading, etc. This goes on for the entire year so each student can develop good relationship with the people from these places.
