What kind of mission work have your students been involved in? How have you seen it impact them?

No students have been involve in Missions at the school where I work. The school had planned to go on a mission last year but COVID cancel the trip to Belize. This was a humanitarian missiion.

I have not seen my specific students before and after mission work. But I’ll bet it’s impactful.

We have done a diapers and wipes drive to donate supplies to foster families, and we have done an Operation Christmas Child sponsorship as a course.

They have been involved in several types of mission work. It feeds their soul when they serve others.

We have participated in Operation Christmas Child, visiting and giving at our local nursing homes, and collected food for food banks. My students are able to make connections with the the world around them through these activities, and it has softened their hearts to those in need.
