Each year, my school participates in building Operation Christmas Child boxes. It has been a very impactful image to our students of how they can be on mission to children overseas. Additionally, our school will go to the local nursing home and the advanced band will perform for the residents there. The students always look forward to this event so much. It gives them a great sense of satisfaction and getting to see the impact they can have on those who are not directly within their daily sphere.

Our school does mission trips every year. The students get to go all over and help people all around the world. Many of the trips teach street Evangelism. This will be my first mission trip this year and I am so excited. I will be part of a group leaning about street Evangelism.

We have taken our students off campus to help clean other churches. Our third grade classes went to the children’s hospital and police station to bring goodies and pray for them.

My scholars are new to me and we haven’t had much of an opportunity to see that. I have heard of things they have done previously in the community, but I will feel better when I can see it. I do notice the high levels of respect that they have for others.

My students have been to the Navajo Nation to help assist and minister to the local communities there. Every year they come back extremely encouraged and inspired to follow God deeper.
