My students have been involved in local community service and outreach programs. I’ve seen these experiences foster empathy, strengthen their faith, and build a sense of responsibility toward others.

Our school works with Operation Christmas Child, and some local charities. Most students are excited to partner with these organizations, and help serve in any capacity. Students especially love tracking their boxes for OCC to see where they end up.

Our students have partnered with Habitat for Humanity. They are assisting in building homes for families in need. I have seen the impact of this Service project in countless ways. Team building, fellowship. The joy of service to name a few.

My school hosts a special needs prom each year. The support they give to the students who attend helps them to become more accepting and empathetic individuals.

Every year, we do the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and the students get so excited to talk about the boxes and to learn that they are sending the Gospel to a student overseas. We are placing a stronger emphasis on missions this year, and I am excited to see our students grow in this area.
