What negative results may come from the leader having all the answers to every problem?

No one can contribute, and solutions to everything can only be as good as what the leader knows. It restrains the best possible results from the contributions of everyone as it is impossible for the leader to know everything.

The leader comes into a role of a teacher or “head of the class”, as opposed to a facilitator. This does not allow for the small group members to rely on each other and their established (or growing) connections, or to work together in support of one another. This could lead to a breakdown of connection, as opposed to presenting opportunities for building connections.
-
Other members will begin to feel like their input is not wanted and they will begin to be less and less involved and may even stopped coming to small groups. Stagnation and ineffective solutions.
-
Other members may not feel engaged which may lead them to lose interest in connecting further. They may not even put an effort to get an answer to the problem.

Others may not be able to participate and may feel de-motivated. And eventually they may lose interest in joining the group or genuinely connecting with others.
