God wants to teach me.

That the Lord wants us to communicate with him, just as a child would communicate with a parent. We need to learn to ask, to understand the meaning of the Lord’s prayer, how this prayer is complete, and that we do not need to be perfect, just willing and able to engage with God.

Actually I thought the William Cowper poem was my favourite thing I got today, i must read more of his poems.

The importance of prayer is to develop our spiritual self. We cannot succeed in Christ unless we have made an attempt to spiritual connect with God’s good grace and Holy Spirit. (1Timothy 2:1-8)

I learned or re-learned the importance of seeking God and His strength. Meditating on His word and remembering what He has done for me in the past and using those same thoughts to help me believe what He is capable of in the future.
