This seems to indicate that if we don’t pray, we will miss out on what God has for us. I think of the greatest prayer of all that we can offer…the request for forgiveness from our sins and to accept Jesus’ gift of salvation. We will lose the greatest gift of all when we refuse to pray that prayer. I also loved how Scripture records David’s prayer rejoicing because God bent down to hear his prayer…like a father bends down to show interest I what his child has to say. Its a beautiful picture of God as Father.

Deleted User03/06/2022 at 07:42Prayer is a privilege and an invitation from God. It’s not only important to me, it’s important to God too. God wants a relationship with me. I am not complete without that relationship with God. I need God to survive. I can’t successfully do things on my own. I am weak and God is strong. I am strong in God and in God alone. Jesus should be my Everything. I exist because of Him. He is my Creator.
