Is for everyone
God want us to pray and invites us to pray
The greatest benefit of prayer is the relationship and communion we have with Him in His presence

God is the center of believer’s Prayer. God wants us to pray to him. When we declare and testify to His goodness, we get God’s attention. God knows everything we are going through and He is waiting to hear from us even when we feel simple, the Lord preserves us and saves us. We render to the Lord thanksgiving, for His goodness, speaking it and it pleases the Lord; we as His testimony and He wants us to acknowledge him. We are precious to the Lord and He want us to call upon all the time, he cares for us. We are strengthened and blessed spiritually and emotionally when we pray faithfully and continuously to the Lord. NEW: Praying brings us to remembrances of the bountiful blessings of God and we are prompted with more thanksgiving and we stretch our faith and dependence in Him.

I learned prayer is the Vehicle I should use to drive through life. It’s like gas to a car, without it I get nowhere. I get nowhere because I am not in constant communication with our Father Elohim. So, how would I know where, what and how without His instruction? I would truly fail without His Guiding Light!!

I’ve learned that the importance of prayer is that God wants to listen to me when I pray. When I stop to pray-because the concerns in my heart are overwhelming- God leans down to listen to me. He can hear the fear in my voice, see the tear stains and reassure me that He understands my feelings. Because of this interest in me, I want others to know how much He loves and cares for us all…I want to tell others, so much so that I promise to do so.

Prayer is powerful. Too often, I am guilty of listing off a checklist of the people and situations that need prayer. But that’s not what this Psalm is teaching us, it’s cultivating a relationship, it’s not just a “Lord, please do this and this and help this and this person”, it’s listening, waiting and anticipating to see what God will do – it’s relational!
How wonderful that He wants us to talk with Him – the God of the Universe wants a relationship with us!!
