What new insights did you learn from a careful review of the Scripture readings cited in this lesson?

These Scriptures all relate back to Jesus. For me, reviewing Isaiah 53:6 and many scriptures from 1 John seem very helpful and something that I had yet to focus on very often if at all.

I do not think I had any new insights, but it is always good to be reminded of these verses. The one, in particular, that resonated with me the most was Isaiah 64:6 “Our righteous acts are like filthy rags.” It is a good reminder that while we do things to serve the Lord, our acts of service are not our means of salvation; that only comes from Christ’s work completed on the cross and through His resurrection.

No real “new” insights, but the emphasis of growing in your faith with others stuck out to me.

I don’t recall any new insights, just confirmation and reminders of what I already have been shown.
