    I learned that humanity had a fall from grace and it drove a wedge between God and us, but the Bible teaches us that by accepting that Jesus died for our sins, acknowledging and repenting our sins, studying Jesus’s teaching and the Bible, we can close that wedge and become close to God again.

    My insights are not really new but remain the same: that we have salvation in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The Bible is all about God’s plan of redemption which began as soon as man sinned in Genesis. God has always had in mind a way to bring man back into fellowship with Himself.

    My insight from scripture in this reading is that God is the creator of the universe. I also learn man disobey God and eat forbidden fruit and lost relationship with God. God still have marcy on man restore him to have relationship with him by sending his son to die on the cross for the sin of mankind. Those who believe Jesus as the son of God and put their trust in him as their personal savior have internal life.

    I’ve learned and been reminded a lot. But my favorite is the fact that salvation isn’t an occurrence of point-in-time. But rather a point-of-beginning from where we are being molded each day in God’s grace through His Holy Spirit.
