Sometimes reading the scriptures again brings back memories about how the Lord has been faithful in our lives, Ebenezer Jehovah Jireh!
It is like a love letter, you read again and again , makes you happy as well as assures you of being loved by a faithful God, hence it never gets bored ,even though outwardly these may be the same verses read over and over again for many years! -
I can’t say that I gained anything new but that is because I’ve been walking with the Lord for nearly 30 years now, all as an adult. But I did have my identity, security, and acceptance in God all re-affirmed. Nothing beats knowing that God loves you no matter what you did and didn’t do. All that matters is that I want Him so He can love me as a daughter with the best, unselfish love that an amazing dad can give.
