I was unaware of the four movements and the information outlined in 1 John. I have read through the Bible once but am excited to learn more about each book, especially the New Testament.

Isaiah 53: 6 “We like sheep have all gone astray, each of us have turned to our own way, and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” I am studying this during Easter week and live on a farm with sheep. I watch the shepherd leading them from the pasture to the sheep pen and laugh at the stubbornness of some of the sheep. Then realise how much I am like a sheep and can get distracted and want to go my own way. I am made aware of how much my own iniquity was laid on Jesus at the cross to pay the price that was my debt.

I was reminded that I came to Christ because it showed me that being a “good person” was not what was going to get me to heaven but rather Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and God’s grace (Eph. 2:8-9).

Romans 6:23 is a reminder of a precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ that God offered me not because of any good works but because of His grace. Something I’m forever grateful for.

Bible study is hearing God through His Word. Fellowship is communication with believers about Jesus Christ and to non believers about Jesus Christ. Prayer is communicating to God or talking and listening to God .
