I was reminded that we have to strive to live like Jesus.
“Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did” (1 John 2:6). -
I knew generally of the Masoretes, but did not know exactly when they did their work or that they went so far as to count letters!

I ways appreciate the thought that “The most important thing is what You think of me.” It is not so important what others think of us. It is important what God thinks of us. This was reinforced in several of the verses of 1 John.

Spiritual formation and maturity should be a theme throughout our whole life.

These Scriptures are great reminders that we must continue growing our relationship with God.
