At the start of the Bible prior to Genesis 3, Man had a right relationship with God, and man not knowing shame, rebellion. In Genesis 3: 1-7, this is the fall of man, and separation from God, due to the rebellion of Adam and Eve, the snake, and knowing good from evil. This knowledge made it possible and did bring forth Sin. In
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring[a] and hers; he will crush[b] your head, and you will strike his heel.” According to this verse, there will be enmity between the individual woman (Eve) and the serpent who deceived her. The word enmity indicates a blood feud. There will also be enmity between his seed and her seed. God promised that eventually, the serpent would bruise the heel of the seed of the woman. However, the seed of the woman would also bruise (or crush) the head of the serpent. This will be a fatal blow. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/don_stewart/don_stewart_756.cfm) My understanding is that although Satan will have the first blow/strike/crush, it will be Eves blow/strike/crush, that will prevail. In Genesis 12(excerpt 1-3) The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. 2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.[a] 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you. A redemption from God to Abram.(https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=genesis+12&version=NIV). John 1:12, Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. In my opinion, this was and still is a great gift from God. (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+1%3A12&version=NIV) John 3:2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Nicodemus, I feel new Jesus was a rabbi, teacher, or prophet, but was afraid to call Him”Son of God”. Additionally in John 3:3-6, 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.[a]”4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[b] gives birth to spirit. (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+3&version=NIV) Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=romans+3%3A23&version=NIV)

Through this study and understanding, it shows the fall of man, how God wanted man to be redeemed and how Jesus would be the full payment for Sin and how through Him, we all can experience Him, His Father and to have everlasting life with belief and faith in Christ!

I learned that my walk is with God and not anyone or anything else. I must keep my eyes on Him.

I was reminded that it’s not because of my effort or hard work to do or participate in spiritual things that bring growth but that it is through His faithful working in my heart and spirit that I am being made new.

It is not simply enough to believe but to act, to be in discipleship with God. This is a continual process of growing to be like Jesus.
