What new insights did you learn from a careful review of the Scripture readings cited in this lesson?

Once we accept Yeshua (Jesus) we are going to end up overturning our lives and be challenged to live differently as time goes on. We are not expected to get it right day one but we are for sure expected to continue building on the Rock that cannot be torn down.

I’ve learned that when accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, every aspect of our life has to change including finances, health, relationships, and our occupation. It’s even deeper than that. Our attitudes, characteristics, thinking and our actions should reflect Jesus.

I learnt deep new insights of the importance of pleasing God even in the midst of harsh circumstances that God permitted. This is painful for the natural man. I realize that Daniel made no provision for his comfort or for even wanting to be understood. Rather Daniel was beyond laser focus about pleasing God and was not even upset at anyone involved in causing him such harm. I realize that Daniel did not magnify the harm done to him he overcame by intensifying his dependence on God to do what God determined best for him. I am left with this quote in my heart ‘The purpose Lord I may not see but all is well done that is done by Thee’.

The importance of being in a community when studying. This is not a journey we are to walk alone.

I have learned that God’s gift to us is our salvation and the sacrifice of Jesus is his way to restore a healthy relationship with him and grow in his word.
