New insights I discovered is that we must know beyond without doubt that we are born again believers in Jesus. Also, how important it is to pray, study His word, and have fellowship with other believers.

I was reminded that God loves us so much He gave us a plan for salvation that we cannot accomplish by ourselves

I learned about the correlation between Jesus’ assertion to Nicodemus that you must be “born again” being a reference and solution to the spiritual death that Adam and Eve experienced when they sinned against God. I had never thought of it exactly that way before!

2 Peter 3:18 was a god reminder to be focused on growing in our faith.

I wouldn’t say “new insight,” but the scripture in Isaiah 64:6 saying “our righteous acts are like filthy rags” was a great thought to chew on again.
