What new insights did you learn from a careful review of the Scripture readings cited in this lesson?

We can definitively know that God loves us, enough that He died for even me. We can also learn that He desires to reconcile us to himself. This is done through the acceptance of salvation. We can be certain of this fact. If I accept Him as my Lord and savior, then the chasm will be bridged and I will be able to live with Christ in heaven for eternity.

Putting all the Scriptures on cue from this lesson is like a roadmap, it gave me a sense of direction on how to introduce God’s will for us to come to know the Good News of Christ.

I john 1:14 . . . we have heard, we have seen with our own eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched – this we proclaim concerning the Word of Life. This is true for us as well, as we walk with Jesus and experience His life in us.

I learned in John 1: 1-4 That their joy would not be complete without writing and sharing with others.

I read through the references from 1 John in how we can be sure that we are born again. I have read this book many times before but never noticed how John lays out 4 evidences and reassurances of being born again. I am grateful that I now have this truth revealed to me and where to locate it. it brought understanding to me as well, that these evidences grow in us, just as the analogy of a baby desires to grow and a child desires to know and be able to do greater things that older people can do, so it is with those who have a healthy spiritual life with God and others
