What obstacle do you struggle with when it comes to prayer? What helps you overcome that obstacle?

My obstacle is to not go on social media when I wake up in the morning. I need to let that wait until after my quiet time with God.

I struggle with not giving him more time first thing in the morning. I pray, read the word and worship him every day.

Often it is my morning routine. I know that I have plenty of time but there are occasions I will start to get imersed in something one of my pets did that morning. I have to quicly get back on track to spending that time with God and remember that whatever my pets did can be dealt with once I am finished with my time with God.

Early on it was being too busy. Now it is probably sin that becomes an idol.
