I struggle with staying focused while praying.

Business and discouragement are probably my biggest obstacles, especially when I return to school in a few short weeks. Recognizing these as obstacles will help me keep a better perspective when that happens.

Busyness is always my biggest obstacle. I know how much of a difference time with the Lord makes. I know how important it is, and I teach that to my students. Even with all of that, I will still fall to the busyness of life and let my personal devotion and prayer time slide. I am in awe of God’s patience with us!

My mind runs all over the place. There are many obstacles in my life. I receive peace with one, another demands attention.

Being busy makes me sometimes forget to pray. The feeling of sadness and pressure when praying but not being answered is also part of what makes me skip praying.
