Applying a biblical truth to a course topic or biblical perspective on a counterpoint to something in the day’s content.

For my lessons, I try to include videos related to the study taught apart from just explaining so my student can also see visually. I believe this helps him because he is able to have a concrete understanding of the concept of the topic.

I provide visual aids, graphic organizers, hands-on activities and partner work. I want the lessons to be interactive if possible. I do feel like these activities are effective because I can reach the different learning styles of the students.

I use research and discuss findings within small groups before one of the members in each of the groups then shares their understanding. I feel it is effective because it brings everyone to participate. Questions are asked from the other groups as the lesson progresses while I guide the discussion to ensure the objective is never lost.

I am not currently teaching in the classroom. I have found in tutoring that some students need to have playdoh or something in their hands to focus. Some need to be listened to about what is hard at home before they can work on school. Some students need to be read to so they can think about the words and the pictures.
