I try to get my students to use all their senses while learning. I also reintroduce concepts every couple of weeks to make sure they don’t just learn it for a test and then forget it. I don’t want my students to be little vending machines that spit out information for a test and then forget it.

Apart from reading the Bible aloud, I use available video relevant to the lesson being taught. I also have students act out loud the narrative scripture being read. It may take a few extra minutes to set-up, but the laughter followed by meaningful discussion is priceless.

I use small-group and whole course discussion, online discussion forums, informal debates, and writing tasks to help students process content more deeply. As facilitator of discussions, students are encouraged to use evidence to support their ideas — and to anticipate counterarguments. I do find these strategies to be effective.

In cooperating as much hands on learning as possible. Yes, these are effective.

Visuals, connection to content available to them, discussion time, hands-on activities, peer questioning and discussion. These can be beneficial for some students and not for others. That is why there are so many different ways I use, so all students have the ability to grow deeper.
