    I ask application questions in addition to recall questions. This practice is effective for students who have higher order thinking skills. However, a good number of students feel overwhelmed and shut down their brains when application questions are tested.

    I will have times where students will present and reteach concepts that I have taught. Additionally, they do a lot of critical thinking and analyzing in the form of essay response questions.

    I use higher level questioning to facilitate discussions that allow students to make meaning of Scripture. I feel this is effective because it requires students to think deeply and engage with the Bible and language and each other.

    My elementary computer students have many opportunities to work on problem-solving, asking questions, and experimenting when we are working on coding exercises so they have begun to think much more critically in this area. It is a goal for this to extend into their biblical worldview though process and values.

    Our school encourages us to stop at times and just talk about the Lord with the students. We can play worship music throughout the day or just stop course and have a biblical discussion if something arises.
