United prayer is very strong, when more than one person prays in harmony circumstances change. I have seen healings and miracles, plus many saved as the result of united prayer. My own walk has been strengthened as a result of it. I have seen babes in Christ mature and grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord. I have experienced growth in my own life as well as a by-product of united prayer. This type of unified prayer helped to truly know how to pray and get results. It doesn’t have to be difficult or complicated, repetitive, flowery/fruity, or stiff. It should be a casual but respectful conversation between best friends. Prayer is one of our greatest privileges and should be exercised and taught as such. If one can put 1,000 to flight then two can do the same to 10,000. (Paraphrase from Deuteronomy 32:30)! There is power in numbers when we assemble in prayer in one mind and one accord (like on the Day of Pentecost).

many years ago, I was near due in having my third child, and it was a Friday, I had just come home from the doctor who had taken measurements and noticed that my baby was not growing over the past 3 weeks, He sent me to have an ultrasound, and when the first lab technition had finished, he left the room and later his boss came in and started again, redoing the entire ultrasound. I had previously had ultrasounds by the first tech with my other children. My pastors wife called me out of the blue that night and asked how I was doing. I was honest and told her I was concerned, and did not know what all this meant. She informed me that we would all pray in church on Sunday about it. Sunday came and all the women gathered around me and prayed, and then one woman declared, ” The Lord is developing your baby as we speak!” Developing, I thought? But that Monday I was sent to an obstetrician who also sent me for an ultrasound because he never received the prior ones done on Friday. After I came back to his office, and he told me the results: my baby was normal and fine, all is well. However, the results from the 2 prior ones both showed that my baby was disfigured; her measurements showed her legs a month too short, her head too big and her arms were not right either. but after prayer on Sunday i know that God had done a miracle. My daughter is now 23 and I still praise God when I think of her. I didnt even ask for prayer, and the Lord had my pastors wife call me, and arranged these beautiful women to pray in the faith I didnt have at the time on my behalf.
