We use a combination of standards in our school. We use both the state standards as well as power standards we have developed as a school. The power standards focus on Biblical integration while the state standards guide the lessons we teach.

Currently, I work in a public school. Standards are always the Core Curriculum Standards and schools are moving towards what they call inclusivity. Gender acceptance is a big topic right now and you could be fired for not using a students preferred pronoun. Character education and social emotional learning are growing, yet we cannot talk about how faith impacts those areas.
When I was in a Christian School, the Bible was the driving force of our curriculum choices. -
As a private Christian school, our students take a Bible course every year. Our goals are academic excellence, biblical worldview, and citizenship.

We follow biblical standards as well as state standards in our school.

Most of our standards follow state standards, but with an emphasis of teaching those components with a Biblical worldview.
