I can pray more intentionally for the missionaries that I know of in parts of the world that are being perscuted. I read the Voice of the Martyrs magazine and pray for people whose stories I read. I think it is important to develop comapssion for those opposed to Christianity, because they are the nexr converts. The statement about the next converts being the people that will be the next converts was shocking to me. It is true,and I never really spent any time thinking about it in such terms..

I can Google Christian persecution in other parts of the world. I can research it. I can and will pray for those being persecuted. If can develop compassion for those who oppose Christianity, we can pray for them, we can show the love of Jesus.

Prayer is vital, keep current on news, use all the sources available through magazines, newsletters, online sources, and seek God for His will and direction to me personally. As I obey the leading of the Spirit daily, I can expect to encounter situations and opportunities to share, give, pray, and sacrifice.
