What steps can you take to improve your awareness of Christians in other parts of the world, especially those who are suffering severe persecution? Why is it important to develop compassion for those who oppose Christianity?

We can now go online to find out what persecution other Christians are facing across the world. And we should have compassion for the persecutors as they are on the highway to hell without repentance.

I can pray for them and share their suffering with other christians to put them in their daily prayers. I can also make sure that to donate money to them to meet their needs in their mission work. For those who oppose christianity they do not know what they are doing therefore you show compassion and love to them. Also pray for them so that they releasize that what they are doing is not good and to turn to God for salvation.

My wife and I are a part of an urban ministry group in our city. We actively pray for our city and other groups that work around the world to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition, our church gives money to groups serving in the mission field. Also, families come to our church and share what is happening in their area of service.

Our local church supports missionaries who serve in areas of the world where severe persecution happens regularly, so I find myself praying for them, those to whom they are ministering, as well as for those who are persecuting. We receive mailings from and support various ministries that exist to protect and serve persecuted Christians around the world. Because of Christians who persevere and stay true to Christ, there are persecutors who come to the Lord. It is important to pray for those who seek to harm Christians because they really are no different than any other unbeliever. They have not yet received the grace and mercy of the Lord, and so they need eyes to see and ears to hear what the body of Christ is showing and sharing. How else can they come to know Him?

I can pay attention to what is going on in the world and take part in a ministry that support or pray for Christians in other part of the world.
It is important to develop compassion for those who oppose Christianity as they may very well become fellow believers.
