What tends to be your goal in a conflict with your spouse? Has anything in this lesson changed your perspective on conflict?

Currently, my goal is usually to find out if it would be possible for me to achieve a goal that I have with his support, or if I need to give up on that goal or achieve it without his support. I know that the goal should be to have him and myself closer to God and I do hope to make that more central to my thinking in the midst of conflicts. I am familiar with the Jeremiah verse and need to apply it here. Often conflict comes when I am tired and resting and having reserve to do what he needs or asks is key to decreasing conflict.

I inherently always focus on being correct and that makes me forget about her feelings

I prefer not to have a conflict, but if it happens my goal will be to tray to solve it, which sometimes I think that my approach is not working effectively.
It has touched some areas that I have to work on and improve in. -
Have mutual respect for each other. No need to get even or look at who is right and who is wrong. Any disagreement resolve it with love.
