Morning and evening are best for me. First thing in the am I read Our Daily Bread. During the day I sometimes reflect on what I have read. I may read the devotional more than once. I also may do an extra reading in the evening.

I typically get up early in the morning and spend time in the Word and prayer before the rest of my family gets up. I can deeply resonate with the part in this lesson about “urgent” things piling up and taking away from my time with the Lord if I don’t spend time with Him in the morning.
