What time and place would be best for you to study the Bible and pray? Why?

The best time for me is the afternoon during lunch and it is usually in my office. I have some time during my lunch break.

I study the Bible first thing in the morning. Throughout the day I find myself reaching out to God and saying quick prayers, praying for others and just reminding myself of his presence in my life.

I started a new schedule about a week ago and my Bible study time is in the afternoons right now. I start out in the same room with my granddaughter during her reading time. I think this benefits her because she sees me practicing what I preach about reading the Bible. When she is finished I move to my room. This is a good time of day because there are fewer distractions. So far it has proven to be a good plan. I’ve been able to spend time in the Word and with Him every day this week.

At home, first thing as I awaken. I am a ‘morning’ person, and it would set the tone for my day, which could become hectic and not allow me the time needed for fellowship with God.

The morning before I leave home for work. Pray & commit the day into His hand.
