What time and place would be best for you to study the Bible and pray? Why?

In my house before the kids get up is the best option for me. I do go to my office for mid-morning times but I find its best for me when I can get up before kid duty starts. In addition, focusing on conversation at all parts of the day is just as meaningful. Mid-day walks are great as well.

The morning on my patio works best for me and the Lord. Prioritizing Him and giving Him my first fruit of the day is a priority for me. I desire to honour Him this way. Also, this time sets the tone for the day. I reflect on our time and what He spoke to me through His word and prayer.

I love that this study implies that a certain time does not fit all. For me, the morning or during breaks during my workdays. In the morning, I can carve out time that is not interrupted. This time is up to me to stick to and put aside for the Lord!

I have little kids at home and a busy work schedule. The only way I can be consistent in my time with the Lord is if I prioritize it first thing in the morning at my house before anyone wakes up.

During the summer, spending time reading my bible and praying will probably work best in the morning because I am not working and it is quiet. During the school year, I will probably need to switch to the evenings.
