What time and place would be best for you to study the Bible and pray? Why?

Deleted User07/31/2024 at 14:04In my house before the kids get up is the best option for me. I do go to my office for mid-morning times but I find its best for me when I can get up before kid duty starts. In addition, focusing on conversation at all parts of the day is just as meaningful. Mid-day walks are great as well.

Deleted User07/30/2024 at 14:34The morning on my patio works best for me and the Lord. Prioritizing Him and giving Him my first fruit of the day is a priority for me. I desire to honour Him this way. Also, this time sets the tone for the day. I reflect on our time and what He spoke to me through His word and prayer.

Deleted User07/26/2024 at 18:59I love that this study implies that a certain time does not fit all. For me, the morning or during breaks during my workdays. In the morning, I can carve out time that is not interrupted. This time is up to me to stick to and put aside for the Lord!

Deleted User07/26/2024 at 14:24I have little kids at home and a busy work schedule. The only way I can be consistent in my time with the Lord is if I prioritize it first thing in the morning at my house before anyone wakes up.

Deleted User07/23/2024 at 16:39During the summer, spending time reading my bible and praying will probably work best in the morning because I am not working and it is quiet. During the school year, I will probably need to switch to the evenings.
