The Passover was happening in Jerusalem during the week of Jesus’ crucifixion. There would have been crowds of people who would have witnessed his death. Those same people, even if they had not actually seen Jesus, would have heard from many witnesses about his resurrection and that He was alive!

The Passover feast was being held in Jerusalem. The witnesses who had seen the crucifixion and later Jesus resurrected would be an eyewitness that others could hear the good news from. There were many eyewitnesses to Jesus’ resurrected body as the Bible states. These witnesses could then spread the good news to their own communities when they returned home.
