Again, it all depends on the person…
But one would be universal morals. Somehow, our society loves the idea of morals so longas they are keeping them safe, but people don’t like the ‘restrictions’ of certain morals because it ‘judges’ some of the actions they want to participate in. -
Our capacity for evil. they would want to believe that they are innately good. our natural propensity towards evil and fall of adam and eve

Having to submit to God and be dependent upon someone else (Jesus) is often times considered difficult because generally speaking humans like holding onto control.
Living your life for God brings so much joy. God loves us so much that he would offer us a way to be redeemed by giving up His one and only Son. -
I think monotheism is so hard for those follow the modern worldview because there is the tempting “live eternally” the cost to do so is so high because you must submit your way of living to the ways of of God which is not appealing because people want to live in a world where they govern their own life.
