Why is this God judgmental? Can’t I make my own decisions?
God is love – but God is also JUST … and so He cannot let our sins go unpunished, because He is holy.
However, this God provides a way for us to come back into a right relationship with him – He is patient and does not force upon us Himself, but waits and continues to show His love to us through His son Jesus.

Probably the fact that all of the Bible is God-inspired. Some “realists” have a difficult time with this as they will just think that it is people doing things to control parts of society, etc.

I think the origin story would be least compelling to my non-Christian friends. I believe many would interact with the creation story as scientifically inaccurate and also, in relation to the Adam and Eve story, question why God would “put them in a situation to fail.” Obviously, the point of the Creation story has more to do with God’s role as creator and his desire to be with us on Earth until we sinned against Him.

The idea that there is only one way to eternal life through Jesus Christ. It is hard for people to grasp that Jesus is the ONLY way (which means those who don’t believe in him will go to hell). Some feel that by believing that Jesus is the ONLY way, that somehow we are determining the destination of others who do not believe in him. My response to this thought is that God is God and we are not. It is up to God how any other person is judged and we have no control over that other than we can pray for their salvation. By believing Jesus is our savior, we are not determining someone else’s destiny.

Bible and identity. Reconciling being made in the image of God, but also choosing to sin seems difficult and least compelling. I might answer this by saying that free will is a gift from our Creator and God had a plan to redeem all who choose to follow Him by sending Jesus as the atoning sacrifice.
