The topic to discuss what is right and what is wrong is a very easy one to relate with the bible as God provided clear definitions of what we should do as His children.

The question that stood out to me was What is the meaning of human history? So often we see the stories of the Bible as happening so long ago, and we don’t think we would respond how the Israelites would. Yet if we really examine our lives, we do the same thing. We walk with God -> turn away from him –> confess our sin –> God takes us back…

Recognizing external reality. I think that got me because sometimes all we see from a Christian school view, is that the outside is bad. We don’t really look deeper and understand the mindset that our students are being exposed to all the time. And if we don’t know this, we don’t know how to talk them through it to see truth.

What is our prime reality? I feel that the other questions spring forth from this foundational truth.

I like the question about when does life begin and end. I think we are seeing this discussion coming into play more and more lately and I think it is important for our students to have a good understanding of when life begins and what constitutes death and why there is death.
