How do we know what is right or wrong? The bible will bring out all the truth we need to know and lessons we also need to learn from any issues concern.

For me “what happens to a person at death”, means that there is judgment after death and this determines how one lives his or her life will determine how one spends eternity.

How can we know right from wrong? I believe it stands out to me because students struggle with this concept. If no one says they were hurt by my words or actions, it must be right. If it feels right to me, it must be right. This two statements seem to be in keeping with the dominant worldview (but not with a biblical worldview).

What is the meaning of human history? How do we know right from wrong? These will be very applicable in my social studies classes.

Three questions stood out to me. The first is, “What is a human being”. This can be addressed in Genesis 1 and gives purpose to our lives from the very beginning. The second question is, “How do we know what is right and wrong?” The world is constantly changing what is right and wrong, but God’s Word never changes. We must teach students to value hiding God’s word in their hearts and not to be moved from His standards of morality. The third question is, “What is the meaning of human history”. As a history teacher, I have the opportunity to teach from a biblical worldview. Although much of the curricula I teach are from secular sources, our History/Social Studies curriculum is from a Christian school publisher and does a good job of presenting from a biblical worldview.
