Which of Dr. MacCullough’s guiding questions discussed in this lesson stood out to you and why?

The question which stood out to me most was, “How is it possible to know anything at all?” It stood out because it seems like a question that persons could spend a lifetime examining, for little gain for the rest of life and family and community. How can I possibly know that children need to eat food and drink water and have shelter? Let me put those things aside until I’m sure I can know that.

What is prime reality? I teach science classes, which are subjects that attempt to explain the universe.

I liked Number 6 about knowing right and wrong. That to me is the most essential and a point I have to explain to misbehaving students. The Bible says to avoid the appearance of evil. The students think if they are not caught red-handed then no problem. Question Number 5 was baffling, “Why is it possible to know anything at all? What does this even mean? God created us with minds.

“How do we know what is right and what is wrong?” is the guiding question that stood out to me for a couple of reasons. First, this question is appropriate for all ages of students, even younger students. The age old debate of wrong vs. right will continue to be discussed until the end of time. The world keeps moving the line and kids are more confused than ever as they try to decide what is wrong and what is right. The good news–God’s Word never changes! It is full of wisdom and is very clear on what is wrong and what is right.

The question that stood out to me the most was: What is right and wrong? This stuck out to me the most because this isn’t the easiest for kids to determine what is right in certain situations.
