This stood out because it can apply to any of the guiding questions. It is a challenge for us to see that we need to make sure we are teaching the importance of the Bible and that families know to teach this. It cannot just be in our school rooms.

The question that stood out to me was “What is a human being?” As I’ve been trying to figure out how to use this information in my courses, I keep coming back to God’s creation of us in His image. Since we are created in the image of a creative God, then that creativity is one thing that sets us apart.

Later, I started to see these patterns and God’s hand at work in people’s lives who impacted the world, for good and bad. I want to teach in such a way that my students can see causes and effects of ideas and actions. They also can learn to participate by contributing their energies toward the improvement of mankind’s conditions.
