I would say lesson three was the most challenging. It was challenging when knowing the direction God was leading me to go on what to do did not align with the known norms for addressing certain issues. My leaders in the church were older than me and felt they knew better what I should do than I did. I respected their wisdom; their recommendation and I respected them. But I had to follow God leading. In doing so, I had the peace of God in what I did. It was more challenging in the secular realm. Secular leadership depend heavily on carnal thinking and stats. To inject God into the conversation regarding decisions to be made was not accepted. Still, as God led me and gave me peace as I worked within the bounds of the business.

For me, fully believing that I have God’s heart is easy but realizing that I can achieve great things is hard. I know that I have a great calling upon my life and live my life accordingly. I also know that I have a heart that is attune to God and His desires. However, despite that fact, I still struggle to see how a little nobody like me can accomplish anything truly great that has a real impact on the world for Christ. I struggle to see myself as able to do this, even with the Lord’s help. I just don’t see myself the way that God does. I still underestimate myself and my God abilities and talents. I know that I am selling myself short by thinking this way, but I do none-the-less. Whether it is a fear of failure or a simple misconception I don’t really know. All I know is that I find it difficult to truly see myself doing great things. So, I am working on adjusting how I see myself, so that it better aligns with the truth as set forth in God’s Word.

do it to honor God and not personal reasons
is a calling not a job

Number 2 can be challenging when I make to-do-lists then realize my list didn’t match God’s to-do-list. Same fir the big picture when I am trying to get my ducks in a row and realize I need to focus on God’s ducks! I pray my vision and God’s vision are onr in the same.

Lesson #1 God puts leaders in place for a reason. Sometimes, I don’t understand. I must turn it over that God knows better. TRUST
