Which one worldview do you feel is most compelling concerning its view of the future? Why?

Monotheism is the most compelling because of its views on an afterlife. Most monotheist believe that faith and/or faith with actions will be the basis of where individuals will spend eternity. The idea of eternity in and of itself is extremely compelling. The naturalist views a reincarnated life after death as well, but nothing that requires the acceptance of another being.

I always tells people that I have staked my eternity on Christ. I have given my life to him and I just want to spend eternity with him.
The first time one of my pantheist friends told me that after she died she would just leave her body and become a piece of the universe or a piece of god it slapped me right upside the head. She said that we weren’t really individuals and God didn’t know us by a name or know us personally at all. Couldn’t wrap my head around it and I still can’t. At least with monotheism there is one God and He does know us and care. -
Monotheistic…because we were created for eternity to BE with our Creator. We can get our hopes up no matter what happens to us here on earth. My Creator loves me enough to die for me so that I can live in relationship with Him NOW & forever (John 17:3).

Monotheism, specifically Christianity, since it teaches life after death and the return of Jesus to bring a new heaven and earth. This alone gives me hope for a brighter future.

Monotheism (Christianity) because it gives me hope for a future of eternal life with Jesus and no pain or sorrow!!
