Do you find exegesis and hermeneutics to be equally challenging tasks or is one easier than the other? If one is easier, which one is it? Why do you think that’s the case?

They are both challenging as we can’t take the other one lightly and the other seriously. Besides we are discussing/interpreting God’s word, which if we commit errors in our interpretation we are accountable of misleading others and ourselves. Of course, we always rely on the illumination of the HS.

For me, hermeneutics can be particularly challenging. I find the Holy Spirit makes more readily available the general and broadly applicable principles from a proper exegesis, but then there is a word in season about my unique call in God…these I must wrestle with Him about until He blesses me.

[Which two Bible study tools do you think might benefit you the most? Why?] I would say crosswalk and gateway. These seem to be the easiest to locate understanding of a passage.

[Which two Bible study tools do you think might benefit you the most? Why?] The Bible Concordance and Dictionary. They will help me because sometimes I struggle on words I don’t know or their meanings and those two tools will benefit me a lot when it comes to that.
