    Both can be quite challenging; We have not lived in times past and therefore must be cautious in our interpretation of the applicability of biblical teachings in the modern day.

    I think it depends on the passage for me. Sometimes I can take the passage and see who is writing and and who are the readers. Sometimes I compare it with my life

    Exegesis is more challenging for me as I can apply the Word to my life daily but I do need quite a bit of help when it comes to understanding how it was applied in the time it was written.

    I think they were both the same for me as I have had practice in both of these in school.

    I think it depends on the passage, but I would lean to exegesis as easier.
