Do you find exegesis and hermeneutics to be equally challenging tasks or is one easier than the other? If one is easier, which one is it? Why do you think that’s the case?

i think its hard but reasonably doin the two kinds of interpreting hermeneutics and exegesis i think it would be good challenge for me .

Hermeneutics is easier. I am of this time, and feel it can be difficult to understand/relate to things in biblical times.

I believe hermeneutics is easier as I live in present day and thus operate from that standpoint. Since I am much less familiar with Biblical times and their culture, etc., the process of exegesis is more difficult.

In general, I find hermeneutics easier, but that is only assuming that the exegesis was done correctly. Since we are so far removed from the time, place, and culture in which the Bible was written, it is difficult to know what the original meaning of passages was without in-depth exegesis. Once we know the meaning, and since we live in our own time and culture, it is easier to interpret how it relates to us now.

I find both has to be a part of the process; I would say as you go into the breakdown of being more specific and microscopically detailed it can be more overwhelming if you are not clear on the text or how it can be understood, relatable and therefore applicable.
